The gorge was carved by the Radovna river between the hills of Hom and Bor\u0161t. The 1.6km gorge ends in the 13m \u0160um waterfall. A stone railway bridge, built between 1904-1905 and designed by the architect Robert Schonhofer, crosses the gorge just before the waterfall. The bridge is 33m high and 65m long; its main arch measures 41m. A stroll through the gorge offers an exceptional experience for anyone interested in plants, animals, and geology.
