To avoid the crowds at the gorge (especially during the summer months) or going the same way twice, visitors can explore the interesting circular route Vintgar-Hom hill-Vintgar. The trail leads through the Vintgar gorge, passes the viewpoint at Hom which offers beautiful views of the Gorenjska region, and follows a scenic route along Hom’s southern slopes.
Duration of walk: 1h 45min
Difficulty level: Easy
Starting point: Vintgar car park (alternatively, Hom car park)
Recommended gear: Comfortable sports footwear and a camera
